Biden’s job approval takes nosedive

Something he did not have to do,but he sold out his supporters for republicans and finance profiteers as hes done his entire career.
Tony Stark has being saying this over a year now.MSN still watered it down and not reporting not only are 2020 Biden voters mad from unfulfilled promises but many promises were not just unfulfilled but Biden downright stabbed his voters in the back on.
Tony Stark is /was a member of a democrat volunteer group and has volunteered for democrat presidential candidates since Obama.In 2016 IIRC we had around half the volunteers and activity than we had in 2008 and 2012 because many felt that Hillery was too centrist,owned by wall street,crime bill/super predators etc
In 2020 after Biden promised police reform,medicaid option for all,free state college,student loan forgiveness,immigration reform,higher taxes on the rich,15.00 minimum wage,no oil drilling etc we had as many or more volunteers and activity than we did in 2008 and 2012.Tony Stark was working 12-16 hour days and didn't post on ET for around 3 or 4 months prior to the election because I was so tired.
Next year,only about 10% of our regular members who volunteered for Biden in 2020 will be doing so in 2024 and there is no new people offering to volunteer in 2024 .The leaders of our group has contact with Bidens campaign people and they have been inquiring lately about what we are going to do next year and they told Bidens people it doesn't look like there will be much activity from us in 2024 because not many want to volunteer this year.
Most of us planned on volunteering for West because we like him and we think it would be easier to persuade former Obama and Biden voters to vote for West,especially black voters,than to vote for Stein but they say its amateur hour when they communicate with Wests campaign people and they doubt West is even going to be on the ballot in our state because they don't see much activity from them trying to do so.So its looking like Tony will be volunteering for Jill Stein in 2024,Green Party is always on the ballot here.

The real interesting point is trump also made a number of promises and failed on almost all except tax breaks and his people dont hold him accountable at all while Dems are running in droves away from Biden....
Trump actually tried to build a wall,even illegally stealing military funds to do it.Trump tried to end Obamacare and lost the fight by one vote.
Biden promised police reform than used his first State of The Union to advocate for fund the police,with zero mention of police reform.Biden promised the climate wing of the party no more drilling,than approved more drilling permits his first 2 years than Trump did in his first 2 years,approved Willow and this year The US has had the highest oil production ever.Biden said he sternly supported abortion rights and teased expanding The Supreme Court.After Roe he fiercely opposed expanding The SC.Biden said he supported DC Statehood and independence,than sided with republicans in opposing reforms DC wanted to implement.Biden made multiple promises on student debt relief,than sided with republicans in restarting student loans when he didn't have to and got nothing in return for it.
Trump publicly pressured and blasted McConnell,McCain and other republicans who obstructed his agenda.Biden did nothing but praise Manchin and Senima.
Trump can run on securing the border, ending Obamacare etc again,because his voters know he tried and believed in those issues.Biden cant run on abortion rights,police reform,medicaid option for all,free state college,student loan forgiveness,immigration reform,higher taxes on the rich,15.00 minimum wage,no oil drilling etc again because progressive,black,abortion advocates, climate voters etc know he is full of shit on those issues.
Even the one issue Biden had going for him(abortion) every Dem I know who was considering voting for Biden for that issue alone changed their minds when Biden told them that protecting this right wing Supreme Court was more important to him than their rights over their body and they would focus on and support abortion rights on the local level because they know even if Biden wins a 2nd term he isnt going to do a damn thing on the issue.

Biden isn’t very squishy on support of democrats. His issue is independents have moved away from him.
A special note that the general election season doesn’t kick off until the conventions. Right now the republican primary candidates are spending huge sums of money and actively campaigning across the country. Biden and the democrats will have a chance to make their case later.
Im sure Biden will make that double digit approval comeback as Carter and Trump did...oh wait
In Pew polling Obama had a 79% approval with Dems in Jan 2012
Same poll,same time of presidency,Biden has a 61% approval with Dems

With Democrats most loyal constituency,Black voters,Obama had an approval around 90%
Biden is around 50%
