Americans are consumer whores...we buy shit on stop.
Now put us at home for long periods of time with unlimited hours of time on the internet and our online shopping exploded because it is far easier for our lazy asses to click a button than get up and go to the store.
People saved money on travel and other services and spent it on shit haha. It is unAmerican to save money..we just find other outlets for it.
Cant go to a resort and use recreation services...we buy recreation goods to play at home.
