No president ever, GOP or DEM, releases significant amounts of oil from the Strategic Petroleum reserves because then it.... depletes the reserves. They at best release a few days but the SPR is not for that.

The SPR is for times of emergency or war, not just because people are complaining of high gas prices...

The same folks who are doing the planning around the use of the strategic oil reserves are the same ones who did the strategic planning for the withdrawal from AFG.

What could go wrong there?

Some of those looters better be careful that they don't collide with some for-real black friday shoppers. Some of those mammas don't look like they respect the Geneva Convention when it comes to the rules of engagement.
