True a 100 years ago, today it's all about political leaning. She leans left so obviously the right must oppose. Someone leans right, obviously the left must oppose. Race, sex and all the ism's are just red meat for the idiot base of the respective parties. These hearings should just be thrown out. Dem wins, they appoint whatever bought and paid for judge they want. Repub wins, same. It's time we quit pretending this system is fair and just. It isn't and it won't be, ever.

To her credit at elast Jackson is way more qualified based on her resume than Barrett was so that is a step up.
There will always be liberal and conservative justices but as long as they interpret the law and precedent soundly and fairly that is all we can ask for really
I'm saying they're political hacks in a robe. The overwhelming majority of the time their votes are 100% predictable with the rare outlier which is probably planned to give the appearance of no political bias. Give her the job. She has law degree, experience as a judge and most importantly, doesn't answer yes/no questions directly. Perfect. Next thing for the zealots to feign horror about. They're boring me.

They claim she was justified giving soft sentencing because she followed the report filed by the probation office.
She had recommendations from the Statute ,from both attorneys and the probation office, yet each time she choose the lesser amount...that is still a problem
