I dunno. It's complicated. They have a budget of about six billion a year. give or take. Not sure without looking whether that is the base assessed amount or includes the special project voluntary budget too.
You see high numbers and then lower numbers for each country over time. That is because there is a lower "assessed" number which countries must pay to the extent that those clowns pay their dues. But 80 per cent of the WHO'S budget comes from so-called "voluntary" contributions above the assessed amount. From countries- such as and primarily- the U.S who contribute above and beyond the assessment for special projects.
I could look into it more but it would be a lot like work. Trust me though. We are putting enough into that outfit and all other UN related organizations to be able to do some real work for ourselves if we took a portion back.
Even if I were to accept that argument for the sake of discussion, we can nevertheless agree that Joe Biden is quite a bit less than "the average person off the street," eh?
Biden will not get a chance to prove he can do better than Trump since he will never be President.
neither Biden nor Trump would have done "better" but the job is to let the CDC do what they supposed to and empower local government with support....President has little control except to step up and delegate.
Pres. can order decisive action on the recommendations of competent professionals he appoints. So yes, anyone off the street could've done better.
Trumpy could have nominated the COVID vaccine himself and you would argue that he would be unfit to inoculate.
