The muslim ban was not an attempt to stop terrorists but to appease to his base. If he really wanted to stop terrorists from entering the country. Saudia Arabia, UAE and Egypt top the lists for most terrorists responsible for U.S. deaths.
The 9/11 attacks were carried out by 19 men—from Saudi Arabia (15), the United Arab Emirates (2), Egypt (1), and Lebanon (1)
So if terrorism was the concern why pick countries not on teh same threat level? Because it was low hanging fruit to appease a base and rabid fans. I don't see it as anything more than a president flauting his balls.
Before you come back with the typical bullshit that I support terrorists coming in the country, it was already proven that the countries listed were not the ones with the highest risks. If you tell me the Saudi prince funds terrorists and is corrupt but you leave them off because you suck his oil dick, then you did nothing.
So the ban and the lifting of the ban do NOTHING for terrorism except give you all on both sides talking points which are useless.
I never heard a peep from any of your ilk why SA, UAE and Egypt were left off conveniently.... WHo gives a shit about Somalia and Sudan who are basically killing their own people and are not posing any threat to the U.S. But those countries cannot say shit so we can just ban them. needless to say plenty of non terrorists have come under legal visa programs with background checks and are members of society even if you dont li ke their skin color.
