Look at the needle, it takes into account the remaining vote. Why are you focused on the counted vote at all, its all about what's remaining and those are the urban areas along with mail in ballots.

I will stick with the actual percentages based on the current percentage of counted votes (currently 80%).

I view these “meters” as nothing more than fanciful projections at this point. The actual current vote count are the hard facts.

Actual percentages tell nothing if you don't count for the remaining vote, needle was pretty accurate in Florida and Ohio even when Biden was leading the count early.
