Kevin can't even muster enough votes for an inquiry, which is what they've been doing for months. This is all just red meat for the maga-maniacs. Go ahead with your impeachment. It will result in the Dems taking back the house. It's literally nothing but a shiny object to divert attention from Trump's crimes for the next year.

Also, in 2020, Trump’s DOJ issued a binding legal opinion that impeachment inquiries are invalid without an official vote of the House.

President Biden offered his first public reaction to the Republican Party’s sham impeachment inquiry on Wednesday.

Speaking at a fundraising event in McLean, Virginia, Biden told donors that he would remain focused on what matters most — helping the American people.

"Everybody always asks about impeachment. I get up every day — not a joke — *not* focused on impeachment. I’ve got a job to do. I've got to deal with the issues that affect the American people, every single solitary day."

Biden reflected on how Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene sought to impeach him his very first day in office. The extremist Republican, a leader in the party, did in fact file articles of impeachment one day after President Biden was sworn in. Biden added:

"I don’t know quite why, but they just knew they wanted to impeach me. And now, best I can tell, they want to impeach me because they want to shut down the government."

House Republicans, despite having no evidence of any wrongdoing, launched their sham impeachment inquiry into President Biden on the orders of criminally indicted ex-President, and President Biden’s likely general election opponent, Donald Trump.

they want to make the false equivalence of "both candidates flawed/corrupt/impeached so ours is better". The danger here is voters are fucking stupid and 61% already buy into the Hunter/big guy bullshit so this circus won't necessarily play out as dems are hoping.

Not likely as 2024 turnout for Biden will be anemic.Dems best hope for the House will be Dr West voters voting for The Dem Congressional candidate.
