Which Democratic Presidents in history had " no merit "- dumb ass comment.
Do you know the definition of the word "superficially"? Try and ease up on the weed, it's making you irritable.
Anyway...
At least with Harris you know you are voting for the same oligarchy that has been running the country for the past 4 years since anyone with half a brain can see Biden/Harris aren't in control of anything.
I think it is all quite comical. The oligarchy is only a +185 underdog in the betting markets with no VP and no campaigning. They are going to get a big boost from here on out as the assassination attempt becomes old news. They don't have to beat Trump in a debate. They just have to look better in a debate than Biden who couldn't even talk. Harris just has to practice her stock responses to the questions she will already know.
Trump is now the old man too.
With these odds I would take The oligarchy approved President Harris and random stooge VP #2 to win.
As far as I understand everything the race will come down to WI, MI, and PA. If I were in an intro stats class I'd just assume these are all toss ups, and since the Dems need all three, the odds of winning are only in the neighborhood of ½*½*½.
OTOH, if you have campaign money to throw my way... I can write up a huge report explaining why the candidate doesn't matter as much as the left-leaning policies mainstream Dems have embraced. In that case, it will come down to ultra MAGA vs ultra WOKE and there's no telling WTF will happen. My recommendation would be everyone move toward the center. It's a shame (and perhaps a harbinger) that people like Joe Manchin are taking cover.
