Biden causing inflation by rewarding laziness

Wait what? Don't plumbers and Carpenters have their rates on their website or they can give you a quote over the phone? You dictate the price?

Most of them have no website. For real big jobs you receive an estimate of the cost.
Minimum hourly rates are $72 an hour for the lowest qualifications. So you pay quickly over $100 for a decent qualified worker.

I don't dictate any price, I hire them. In general these people have so much work that you have to wait weeks before they can come. So if you are difficult they just refuse you, as they have more job to do than time.

As for the cleaning ladies, in the US they usually work for a company and that company has it's own rates. You just need to tip them when they're done.

We don't tip, by law all prices are ALL INCLUDED. The companies that send you these cleaning women are so desperate that they offer a company car for each cleaner they can catch. The demand for cleaners is much bigger than the offer. If you want one now you go on the waiting list till they can find a cleaner. Can take months before you will have one. Rates are never below $15.

Biden is causing inflation by paying people to stay home rather than work. Fridays employment numbers illustrated that very well. Manufacturers cannot find workers and this is causing a huge supply issue hence rising prices. Biden needs to take the blame here. Why should someone work at a factory 8 hours a day when they can almost make the same and sometimes more, by sitting home and getting an unemployment check.
Biden is like a heroin dealer, he gives workers a taste of the governments money and now they are addicted to government hand outs. Thats just how liberals roll.

There won't be socialism in America. Socialism can only happen to countries that were doing well like Venezuela. The US is 120% of GDP in debt and we're already kind of socialist with the Biden checks. The only outcome will be hyper inflation. The US will not experience 10 years of happy socialism like Venezuela did.

It exists and is called ‘corporate tax incentives’

Look with all due respect to you and Mr. Price, you do know Costso and Walmart business model is completely different right? I don't want to dig too deep into it, but Costco makes it's money selling memberships (even negative cash flow on some items) while Walmart is just a big store.

And 15 an hour isn't going to hurt Walmart, Amazon, Costco or any of the big brands. It will however, put smaller businesses out leaving Costco/Amazon/etc as your only option. So this whole fight for 15 thing is just a cleansing of small businesses. Once they're your only option, they'll automate everything and throw their workers out on the street. Atleast it'll be good for their stock price eh?

They should really put a "profit sharing" mechanic to stores. So if you're working at a small pizzeria, you'll be below minimum wage because they don't make much money. And if you're working at walmart you'd be making above. Probably a million issues with that idea, it can be ironed out.

I thought they recently went, then got hyper inflated to a months wage used to feed family of 5 comfortably is enough for 1 cheese burger and a coke literally from a burger van.

New Zealand going big time socialist.

South Ireland going full on Facist.

No, they went socialist when Hugo Chavez took over in 2000. Things started falling apart in 2013 after Maduro took over and oil prices tanked, they printed money and hyper inflation hit. But they enjoyed their 13 years of socialism (Thanks to high oil prices). Pre 2000 they were one of the biggest most profitable oil exporters in the world.

Meh It's VOX, I wouldn't take everything they say too seriously, but they get the major points right. And it's the most well put together video I can find.

The issue there is the bosses for some reason, have the desire just for show to have more money than they ever need and there entire company centres around this, where as the other guy plays fair, pays fair and is happy just being a millionaire.

Most want Billionaire Status, therefore increased min wage, just ends up with less staff, working the same job for slightly better money.

Some where else went Socialist and collapsed recently?? not like USA and UK won't be following them into hyper inflation due to printing money soon, so can't be too critical about that.

This small profit should be shared with a few people, so your example is not incomplete. Walmart should share with thousands of people.
The profit should be calculated per person to have a fair comparison.
If the profit of company A is 100 times bigger than the profit of company B, and company A has 200 times more people who share, company B will have more money (double) per person.

The only problem with my idea is you would be paying people based on company profits and not skills. A small warehouse worker's only job is to move boxes for 15 an hour, while another worker at walmart does the exact same thing and gets more pay and more benefits.

If that happens everyone will just apply to Walmart and those who don't get in would rather collection unemployment. People are gonna do people stuff.

Right.. You do know this goes full circle right? Paying someone 15 dollars an hour will lead to higher prices for customers. Customers don't want to pay and you fire people leading to unemployment. Customers order online instead cause it's cheaper, you make companies like Amazon fatter. They'll use that money to lobby more anti business laws and ensure they're the only ones you can buy from and the cycle continues.

Until one day everyone will buy from Walmart, Costo or Amazon. There won't be anymore small businesses and the cooperation will be in charge if they are not already.

Keep it up, I own amazon and walmart stock. I just find it funny how the left preach about the 1% having all the money when they're indirectly supporting bloated companies that are owned by the 1% by demonizing their competitors ( i.e. small businesses).

Instead of thinking the company doesn't pay you a living wage, why don't you say your skills are inadequate? The skills you acquired are not worth a living wage, thus you shouldn't be paid one.
BY DEFINITION, there is no adult person whose skills, no matter how minimal, are not worth a living wage if the get up in the morning and work for eight hours and go home, 5 days a week.

Inflation exists because banks are creating money out of thin air (due to the fractional reserve system), period, President Biden (or any other President) has NOTHING to do with that.
Well, lets not forget that money created by fractional reserve banking disappears when the loan is paid off. Is there a limit to how much credit a person can, or would want to, obtain? I would think so. Isn't it that limit that creates the short credit cycle in the economy? (See Dalio)
