Dangerous precedent the DNC is setting by cancelling & now appealing.....so now Trump can selectively cancel county elections because of COVID if we go by their reasoning? Stupid.

My thoughts:

1. Megyn Kelly......creating her own content on You Tube haha...that career candle flickered out a long time ago.

2. 'I wish he would,' Reade answered. 'But he won't, but I wish he would, that's how I feel emotionally,' Reade said. She previously wrote on social media that Americans should support Bernie Sanders, Biden's former Democratic primary rival. Ahh there is the true motivation to lie or stretch the truth...

3. As someone who fairly called the Kavanaugh fiasco political bullshit (I might not have posted it here but did say this was going to come back and bite the Dems in the ass but really was disgusted with the whole thing and avoided talking about it ) Not only about the assualt but trying to make a big deal that he drank in college under 21 (oh wow..)...this is also politicial bullshit popping up now and not when he was going to be nominated for VP and then won VP (not any "I think Biden should step down as VP candidate because..) Only because her boy Bernie got kicked in the nuts..

4. I think in 2016 we learned that someone being accused of sexual assault is meaningless to the American voter so forgive me if I care less about claims that to me fall under #3 above. So according to the GOP, Trump's multiple allegations plus kavanaugh were false but Biden's claim is true. So according to the Dems Trumps claims were true and kavanaugh but Biden's are not? They are all politically motivated with no concern for the truth. Politicians destroyed the credibility bar so I apologize to all the women who were truly assaulted but the way th ese pop up and are driven...I aint buying it.

5. This will blow over and go away in the next news cycle as will the Hunter crap. If 2016 taught us anything...public just does not give a shit, only partisan people who were voting against the person the story is being hurled at anyway.

6. CNN will bury it and FOX will bring it up everyday....opposite was true for Trump so they deserve each other.

As I have said several times before, Joe is protected by the fact that the dems are not able to find a better candidate so are trapped like rats. So in that scenario is will blow over for the dems. In the event that they concoct some plan to replace him and find a better candidate- admittedly late in the game but no one likes him- then I can assure you that the Tara Reade issue will not have blown over. That is the vehicle they will use to justify changing their minds after having endorsed him. Mind you I am not saying that will necessarily happen. I am just saying that the operating factor here is that Joe is all they have right now. Not that the metoo issue does or does not matter to them. If Cuomo had decided to run- or the like- it would suddenly matter a whole lot.

Uh oh. Not good if you are Joe and trying to make this go away.

I posted the above, this morning or yesterday or something, and now I see that she has in fact picked up a high powered attorney who has experience in representing Weinstein accusers. Not what Joe or his campaign want to hear.

Reade's account of the alleged incident, her conversations about it with others and what, if any, steps she took to lodge a formal complaint at the time have all been intensely scrutinized over the past week, and a prominent lawyer announced that he is now representing her.

In a statement, the lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, said that "every survivor has the right to competent counsel" and that he would "represent Ms. Reade zealously, just as we would any other victim of sexual violence." Wigdor has also represented accusers of former Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.


Also not good: Tara Reade's allegation of sexual harassment apparently appears in 1996 court filing in another matter. Not good. Yeh sure, Team Biden can pipe up and say that she refers only to harassment and not assault- if that gets ya anything. womp.....womp..womp.

Also on Thursday, a local California paper first unearthed a 1996 court filing from Tara Reade's then-husband in which he mentions Reade telling him about sexual harassment she said she was experiencing while working in Biden' office. The filing does not include mention of sexual assault, according to the report. NBC News has not reviewed the document.
