Yeh, I share that fantasy. Unfortunately I suspect that she might become the next generation of Maxine Watters, Hank "I don't want Guam to tip over" Johnson. The loons who elect them tend to be oblivious to the fact that their rep is loon, or they realize it but that's the loon for them.
She is raking in the cash though. I will say. All of Hollywood and her national fan club are there for her.
Also, in regard to the November 5th thing. Not to forget that that is a solidly, solidly dem district so all the action is at the primary level which is June 23 unless it has or will be moved. She got in because she beat Joe....can't remember his last name......there in the primary. So we don't have to wait until November.....winning or losing the primary will be the answer to whether she is re-elected.
I suspect she will be re-elected and Omar too but I just threw up in my mouth a bit.
Not surprisingly, the Chamber of Commerce in AOC's district is supporting Caruso-Cabrera. I wonder why that is. NOT.
On the other hand, she got elected last time because others did not show up to vote for the usual guy, rather than because the electorate overall loved AOC and they may show in droves to correct that. I am not really familiar with the local politics in her district beyond the fact that it is some form of lefty dem.
So, since I have not taken my hand off the board yet and think I will change my answer to the question of whether she will re-elected to "I don't know." I do know though that it will be decided at the primary level. Whoever wins the dem primary will be sworn in.
