He brought Iraq troop levels down from around 200,000 to 20,000,so even with the Afghan increase its a big net draw down.Iraq was also more expensive than Afghanistan.

The truth Tony is that Bin laden was able to place all his assets in the US, they went to school and trained and practiced their attack, all under Clinton’s watch. By the time Bush took office everything was planned and in place, very little he could do to stop it without placing a huge burden on our transportation and infrastructure by shutting everything down, it still would have been grasping at straws at that point.

I love it when Tard’s applaud Obama’s troop withdrawals in Iraq. They fail to realize Iraq’s Parliament pulled US troop immunity from prosecution which was the reason for our hasty departure, Obama just falsely took credit for it.

Then Obama EXTENDED it from 2009 to 2011... and cut the budget.
