A couple of Enron executives were able to protect some assets by buying real estate in Florida, although they did suffer convictions. Besides, extradition requires cooperation by the home state and it is not unprecedented for states to not always cooperate with each other or even states always cooperating with the Federal Government. Immigration laws come to mind.

Edit: Besides, New York still would have to convict.

Further proof -along with the above- that it is mighty hard to get Joe to participate in question and answer sessions beyond folksy little walk-through appearances.

Usually, when I read about protesters having to be removed from a candidate's offices I assume it is some fringe types cranked up beyond civility. But given Joe's recent aloofness I can't immediately assume that about these people (below). Could just be some perfectly fine people trying to get some understanding.

Message to Biden: Joe, stop being an arsewipe. That's some NO MALARKY TOUR you got going there, buddy. Looks like 100% bullshit and avoidance to me. Get your fingers out of your arse and go out on the hunt.

According to station KCCI, the Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement Action Fund says its members were cited at Biden's statewide headquarters.

They wanted to meet with Biden to talk about his 'Medicare for All' plan.
