Joe Biden says he would consider a Republican for his running mate
Exeter, New Hampshire (CNN)Joe Biden told voters in New Hampshire on Monday that he would consider choosing a Republican as a running mate, but added, "I can't think of one right now."
Biden discussed the possibility after a woman told the former vice president that if he is the nominee, he will "have to pull out all the stops."
"Our 21-year-old son said the other night, 'I wonder if Joe Biden would consider choosing a Republican as a running mate," the woman added.
"The answer is I would, but I can't think of one now," Biden replied. "Let me explain that. You know there's some really decent Republicans that are out there still, but here's the problem right now ... they've got to step up."

The Joe Biden has bigger problems with Comrade Bernie now.
Bernie raisied 50% more than Joe did, even though the big donors and PAC'S were activated for Joe last quarter. And BootyBoy raised more than Joe too.
Bernie has plenty of votes and dollars to force a food fight-brokered convention. So Joe is looking good if all you look at is national polls- otherwise it's gonna be a long haul. Bernie is not going to get the nomination but he is holding enough cards to turn the primary into a train wreck, along with Warren's and Booty's hold-out votes, unless you see those two caving soon and their supporters going to Joe. Ahhh. No.

Biden has a super PAC running for him, too. Not pure enough for you?
Bernie has always been a fundraising juggernaut. He is doing the same money wise but only getting a third of the support with the same lists! He is not parlaying much support from his previous run. That’s called weakness.
This race is shaping up to be a rerun of Clinton v Sanders but with Biden this go around minus some unexpected X factors. Unknown, unknowns.
Currently, Biden is moving in Iowa. 538 has him leading there. If he knocks that back and clears Warren and Buttigieg before Super Tuesday, he can avoid a brokered convention.
It’s less likely there is a brokered convention now then since this primary season fully got under way.
This is not saying the Bernie bros won’t spoil the party. If they didn’t then they wouldn’t be the Bernie bros now would they?
