Joe Biden’s son Hunter was arrested on Jersey Shore drug charges in 1988 and had his record expunged at a time when his father was pushing for the incarceration of drug offenders drawn disproportionately from minority groups.

Congressional records reveal that Hunter Biden, now 49, was arrested in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, where the Biden family has often holidayed over the years, in June 1988. Hunter Biden, then 18, had just graduated from the prestigious Archmere Academy prep school, which his father had also attended. The former vice president and his wife Jill have often been spotted on trips to Stone Harbor.

The arrest has not previously been reported.

You will point out the poll showing how happy they are. Then the next day there will be polls showing that Hillary who is not even in the race is leading. What are they looking at her for if they are so happy and locked into the current field?

Hillary failed to file by the deadline in various states and would not be able to gain the delegates necessary to win. It is already a mathematical certainty. She isn't going to run because she could not possibly win without some major legislative changes in several states. Its a done deal.

They will go with Creepy Joe and he will suffer a thousand cuts on the campaign trail. Its a shame we have to wait 11 months to resolve this. America now understands that the House must go to the Republicans or they will just start fresh impeachment nonsense.

But the take home message in regard to the bit about his teenage drug arrest and expunging of it is that it means that oppo research or freelancers are now going to another level in their investigation of him. And as we know he is a target rich environment for any serious investigators.

So they will cannibalize each other and the nomination process/convention will be a mess with convoluted rules being challenged. And then- regardless of who gets the nomination- half of them will be pissed off because the nominee was allegedly not legitimately voted in. It's how they roll. And then they will slog off to the general election with half of them feeling sour and like they have scores to settle within their own party.

Honestly, I don't fault Biden for trying to take care of his son. Unfortunately, he has repeatedly crossed ethical lines in doing so. If there was some desperate national need for Biden's leadership, as there was for Ronald Reagan's and Trump's, maybe we could overlook it. But Biden is a well over the hill, hack pol of the worst sort, not any sort of aspirational leader. In addition to his sleazy ethics, he is a creep who can't keep his hands off women and particularly young girls in situations where they have to choose between submitting or making an awkward scene. It is astounding the "woke" MeToo crowd will tolerate him.
