I have not watched the video interview contained herein and I guess it will be playing on the tube later today but:
This is the Bidens allegedly trying to get ahead of this Hunter thing and contain it.
Looks like a disaster to me. Just the little quotes here show him admitting two or three times that it may have been swampy as hell but "I did nothing wrong" or words to that effect.
That's a good argument in court if you are trying to stay out of jail. But otherwise.....
Joe got hurt very badly by this thing. Trump has him off fighting Trump on the same days he need to be off fighting primary opponents. Not good. The dem candidates have all - except for a couple- agreed to not go after Joe and to defend him because they believe that an attack on Joe and this corruption thing hurts their brand.
As I said yesterday the moderators will deal with by asking Joe a seemingly hardball question but then letting it ago once he gives his canned answer- without any follow-up questions. It's just how their dance rolls. Problem is, all the donors who were thinking of donating to Joe because he allegedly beat trump, know that Homey Trump don't play that game.
