Interesting that MC shows Sanders’ supporters second choice is Biden over Warren and vice versa for Biden. I didn’t expect that. The second choice Warrens supports is Sanders.

Right. Sometimes the leader maintains their lead throughout and goes on to get the nomination. Other times, while less frequent, a challenger overtakes the front runner and gets the nomination.

Warren is steadily rising but she is building a house of cards. The Medicare for all issue is a major line of demarcation. The support for that is not there among base democrats.

Im not saying she or Bernie, or even Kamala can’t get the nomination but that issue makes it very difficult to get the party behind.

She can pivot or she has her work cut out for her.

One of the things that is holding Bernie up is that when people go flaccid on him they dont see anything below that they like. That is a decidedly unpretty scenario. Versus, as I said earlier, those who went flaccid on Hillary but eagerly found their lover boy Obama.

Biden is going down over time. And Warren is going to get the nomination. And Warren is wall-to-wall problems once you get past her honky leftist supporters.

She is a good and energetic campaigner though and is not stupid. She has also pivoted away from beating her chest about being a woman day and night. She does it but less so. And she allows and promotes things like flying American flags at her rallies. All of this helps her to be less obnoxious, to a small degree. She also has wicked good ground teams in the early primary states. She is a polished turd, but she is an improved turd.

I don't have a clue what she is going to do for the black vote. And neither does she. Most likely she will have the Castro Boy as her running mate eventually.
