Biden 2020

Biden out there connecting with younger voters by using a campaign slogan - No Malarkey- that gives him a chance to explain that that term was commonly used back before their great-grandparents were born and only then if they were Irish.

Wayyyy to go Joe.

Not exactly Hope and Change or Make America Great Again material but it's right for Joe and his Lazy-Boy Recliner base.

Idiot.

Democrats call BS on malarkey
Voters don't love or hate Biden's campaign slogan — but they do find it confusing.

Certainly not his only problem.

He ran twice before when he was younger and never got more than 1% of the vote anywhere, anytime. But yeh, not surprisingly he did not improve with age. He is only being propped up now by the fact that the field is all losers.

And of course, he is a loser too. Welcome to the Dem Primary 2020.

It’s his only real problem.

Roughly one-third of the presidents were Vice President before becoming president. Being elected on the presidential ticket goes a long way. Always has.

His previous runs mean nothing because they were prior to his election as Vice President, twice.

His numbers in Iowa will go up off of this bus tour.

Yeh, well how many VP's became President after beng out of office for 4 years and then becoming President?

Joe is trying to run as Son of Obama but the line of succession has been broken and he is not really within that aura anymore and his campaigning reflects more of Joe rather than Obama's coat-tail. Being elected VP and being on the upbeat is a good chain of events if you want to be President. But being VP and then having your party thrown out of office messes up that little cake walk.

Wait....you are introducing the radical idea that if Joe actually goes out and campaigns it might help him?

If Joe's numbers go up it will only be because he captures more of the Lazy Boy Recliner crowd there. Demonstrating - yet again that he has trouble ahead with younger voters.

Also, Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack/sp just endorsed Biden a while back so that will get him some votes from the lemmings who look to someone else for signals.

I don’t feel like running through the list but it’s an interesting question, none come to mind.

You right wingers are scared of Biden and it shows. Trump is scared too, so much so that he is abusing his official powers to try to stop Biden.

All of this talk about a no marlarky bus tour is nonsense because that’s who he is. Should he go on a “fleek” bus tour to try to show the younger voters he’s hip or just be himself and show he has been fighting for democrat principles for a long time?

Biden doesn’t pander. He stood up when the rage was m4a and said no. He stood up when a protested demanded he stop all deportations and said no. He’s old but his message is right because he knows what he stands for. That’s called authenticity.

Now Buttigieg is on the move and I saw him with Rev. Barbar looking uncomfortable and out of place and having no bona fides in the areas of poverty and race and he just looked like he was in the wrong place at the wrong time nodding along to things he never even thought about. It’s just not going to work for him.

As I mentioned in another post, Joe Biden can walk down any block in America and be fine. Almost no one else in the race can say that, including Trump. People like Joe Biden and his time as VP boosted that. There’s nothing wrong with that. He did a good job in many areas as VP too.

He will most likely be the nominee.
