oof, like a cornered orangutan flinging shit around
30 minutes out of this 40 minute presentation did not reflect well on our President.. Blaming others for problems never goes over well for a leader. Trump needs more depth of knowledge in most subjects. Trump’s management style is geared towards marketing, but as far as problem solving skills and utilizing talent, he has been falling behind.
In the last 10 minutes, Trump performed better and made some good, if undersupported points.
I feel safer under a Trump Presidency from a systemic standpoint, in spite of the mismanaged pandemic, the riots, and now certain parts of the economy. I believe Trump is not evil and truly wants to contribute to improving American’s quality of life and America’s standing in the world.
I question whether Trump has the tools to do it.
I fear a Joe Biden Presidency from a systemic standpoint. I see a Biden Presidency further opening the door for vandalizing Antifa Radical Leftists and the organization supporting them, whose agenda is contrary to the interests of most working heads of households.
Those Independent voters who would still consider voting for Trump have to be looking at Trump with very critical eyes right now.
I am open minded to the idea of the Democrats not having the Black vote as locked up as they are hoping, in spite of what polls are indicating. They sure are spending a lot of time working their race cards, when they could be talking about other issues that may appeal to a broader group.
An effective leader is driven to win and will spend every waking moment to gather all the necessary resources they need. Trump does not seem to be doing this. A leader is an effective communicator who is respected and who can motivate people to be less selfish for the good of our community. An effective leader is smart and empathetic, who can come up with win-win solutions by visualizing motivations and needs of others from different perspectives.
Trump will be facing some hard hitting political ads that will actually be based on accurate information.
In my estimation, Trump needs to somehow use all the recent events as part of a vision that will capture the imagination of those who are still open minded enough to consider voting for him.
But does Trump have the tools?
