The funny thing is that when they find a fossil that they are SURE came from a certain time period and the material around it came from a way way closer time period to humans, they ignore that evidence and look for ways to explain it to match what they believe.

First, you are generalizing to the extreme. Literal biblical interpretation is not the only alternative to atheism. Theism and evolution are not mutually exclusive.
Second, the statement on archaeology is bizarre. Not only are you applying a childish generalization to an entire scientific field, but it is a ridiculous and paranoid claim. In any event, it is a science, which means you are free to replicate the experiments and observations, and broadcast the evil atheists' lies for the whole world to see. Let us know when you get some proof.

Your point was, there was no max age listed in the Scripture. It was obvious it was intended as a maximum, as the context is that God is no longer intereested in striving with (dealing with, arguing with) man for unlimited or extremely lengthy lifetimes. In other words, our behavior gets on his nerves.
Arguing and digging into all the theological, archeological, sociological and other factors as well as tweezing into her own life and evidences is not what this is about.

That's what I don't understand either. They reject the Big Band Theory because they think it's prepostorous that something came from nothing etc. etc. yet it makes perfect sense that "god" just snapped his fingers like a genie and everything magically appeared.
The truth of the matter is that no theory of how the universe came to be will ever make perfect sense because nobody was there to witness it.
What thinking Christian rejects the big bang theory. We know it is just a theory but it sure is consistent with the idea of a Creator.

It depends on how you define day. If you think it means literally 24 hours, then you may have a problem. But, why force science and God to be inconsistent. Thats what people of the atheist dogma does. Not those who think.
