Better setup for heavy use Excel

SIUYA, this isnt something Im experiencing with my macros, ( I have them all turned off). This is a problem that I am now having when I manually copy and paste. And it could be a completely new book but still experiencing this problem.... Havent been able to find anything helpful on google either....

If you manually clear the clipboard, does it still do it?

The thing is there is there is nothing in the clipboard. It usually starts happening after I've been using some heavy excels for a while and will then continue to happen for the rest of the day. Even after restarting excel

I don't trade any longer (for a living) and I'd be happy to discuss offline but what stocks are you running on the i7 vs. the dual-core CPU?

If you are running low volume stuff on the core-two-duo and the really beefy stuff like SPY and others on the i7 then of course its going to take ages on the i7 and minutes on the 2-core.

All depends. You said same macro but different stocks... that could be your difference.

Like some people already do suggested try to use new version of software and bios on that new machine, I bet by the date you have wrote the post it was really something like that and that's it, no less than that anyway. Thanks for leting me know this.
