Beto O'Rourke describes GOP handling of coronavirus as 'death cult,' says Texas needs 'a Gov. Cuomo'

Before the Fear Porn Patrol (FPP) shows up with various "Texas is about to die, run for your lives" opinion articles, I thought I'd post a few things on the subject.

First, Texas ICU availability is on the upswing after bottoming last week. Could be a bounce. We shall see.

I think we have hit the peak in TX, it's been just about enough time for people wearing masks to have an effect. To me it proves they work assuming I am right about the peak, I haven't seen less people out in the Dallas area, but it's gone from about 10% masks to damn near everyone. So open with a mask mandate is what should have been done in the first place. School is another matter. If you are high risk, keep your kids home until there is a vaccine, they will get it. Kids are not going to keep masks on for a whole day or not touch their faces. I know I wouldn't have at that age.
