This is my second day on this site and I actually read about 90% of what was posted in this forum. I have been on the institutional side of the biz for almost ten years - mutual fund manager; structured products dealer; performance analyst....

A few of my friends are big players in the AI niche and I can tell you that if anyone was consistently showing 1 - 5% profit a day, they would have billions of dollars thrown at them faster than you could say "Elliott Spitzer".

I've looked at this site and I find its claims to be just too much to believe. One of my co-workers was a good friend of the head bond guy for GS in London and i met him a few times. I GUARANTEE that if anyne could prove 1 - 5% a day, GS would fund them, breed them, and hire a mercenary force to protect them.

IMO, these guys are marketing people and probably make a good living out of it - like the guy who runs www.turtletrader.com and has never placed a trade in his life.

Of course they want you to "give it a shot and decide for yourself"! That is how they gain revenue! If their claims were true, they would have hired an independant accounting firm to certify them and charge 10k a month - and they would be worth every penny!

But they didn't do that, did they? It is no wonder why....

I'll make these guys a deal.... Give me your service free for one month. If I make 1 - 5% a day, I'll pay $2000 a month for your services.

Quah,

Could you post the information to complain here on ET? I will join the list.

Wow.

So the two questions I've repeatedley asked, and even reasked at your request, are now deemed irrelevant?

I guess you can't back your claims up at all then - you aren't even trying. You act like I'm asking you to do something out of the ordinary.

Therefore, one can only conclude that your claims are false. You had the chance to back them up, but chose not to, and I can't understand it if you are on the level.

Someone posted above that the CFTC wouldn't put up with advertising like this - I sure hope there is some equivelent in the "stock" world - I'm going to find them if there is and file a complaint if possible. This crap has to stop. It's insane.

That - to me - is what ET is all about. Helping others - newbies also - avoid scams that are so prevalent in this business. These people prey on those who could not figure it out (which, is most), and lure them in with outrageous claims or promises of the "holy grail". It can be tempting for even the strongest, but when you have fellow ET'ers questioning the scammers it could save some people A LOT of pain.

Exactly.

Newbies get sucked in for certain - because even some people with actual experience seem to think "hmmm, maybe this one IS true". The temptation is there to want to believe - to want to believe that Eric in Oregon is actually taking home $50,000 - $100,000+ PER DAY based on calls from this service - after starting with < $10,000 only 18 months ago. Hell, *I* want to believe it.

But those of us with REAL real life trading experience and knowledge know damn well that Eric in Oregon is not making 5%-10% PER DAY on a 7 figure account. No one needs to put up $200 to check out the chat room. You won't find Eric there. Common sense.
