Best way to learn S&P emini ?

I'm serious, lots of threads here at EliteTrader.com that's completely devoted to trading the S&P 500 Emini ES Futures.
For example, go through the threads in the section called Index Futures.

Last of all, hopefully someone doesn't show up with less than 20 posts (they are a new member themselves) and start posting links to a fee-based website (sarcasm) in response to your questions.

#1 way to learn to trade anything is through observation. From there, see if you can indentify correlations and patterns. If you're going to day-trade them, make sure that whatever rules you come up with are relatively simple and somewhat broad in scope because you wont have all the much time in which to make a decision.
Look at 1 min and 5min charts if you're going to day trade.
If position trading them, look at 15min, hrly. Also, track the cash s&P 500 on a daily basis and build a system off that to compliment a system built upon the hourly of the future. A note about position trading them; you system to be more "complex" and indept since you do have the luxury of time to make a decision.

I know he probably reads here on occasion (don't believe he posts though) and to me it was legit enough to start with...but he's been on the e-mini trading for 2+ years now and does well with it (has prior experience elsewhere as well)
