Best way to hedge your self overnight

Tell here you did the taxes too! That will buy you some years on those "overnights"...You could consider yourself "deep in the Money"

Actually, another interesting position would be to go long/hold CHF (Swiss Francs) denominated positions. Historically Switzerland is a neutral nation thus during times of crises you see strong CHF buying. Last time I saw this occuring is during the London train bombings.

True, While you may not be able to totally eliminate your risk you should be able to soften the blow by bringing yourself closer to neutral should you be caught long when us markets finally open. I'm talking more of a 9/11 event where the us markets may not open for days or weeks...

Naturally you wouldn't be able to elimate all of your risk. Your best bet would be +vegal positions (if you don't want to close all position EOD).
