I never said it wasnt. Its "unavailable" for sale to civilians (new ammo), however It is not illegal to posses the old ammo. Its for sale only to law enforcement under the new name Ranger Talon. Why? All because of what the media did starting 15 years ago regarding this ammo.

I remember all the controversy but never knew they stopped production. I just read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Talon,_ammunition and I see it's no longer on the market. Guess I should hold on to what I have. I have a few hundred rounds. Cost me about $1/ round back when I stocked up. Thanks for the heads up on it.
