Best US State to Trade from?

Quote from optioncoach:

Panama is the BEST! WIfe is from there and we go every year. U.S. dollar, cheaper standard of living all around, 3 major airlines service Panama (Delta, Continental, American), 2 hours from Miami and 4.5 hours from New York, modern city with all the comforts of US (one of few cities you can drink right from tap), great food, recreation and friendly people.

Will make it a second home in the future :)

From my reading Panama has quality high speed internet connections, am I right? I was reading the Canal is the transoceanic fiber connection to North and South America I believe.

Yup high speed internet for trading. ALl the offices have high speed internet and most homes have dial up but you can get internet through the cable or phone lines now.

Worst case scenario, you rent an office for $300 a month with all business services and trade from there lol.

You know, not a lot of people talk about Virginia, but I think the Chesapeake Bay area has to be one of the nicest places to live in the country. Virginia, DC, Chevy Chase, MD, that whole area. Of course naturally that market is pretty over heated as well as far as real estate prices go. But I think it beats the hell out of California and Florida.

Agree with you Maverick. But let's emphasize how hot it gets, and the crime, not to mention the bugs and the SNAKES!! Oh the traffic can get terrible, and not to mention the hurricanes.....

larry,

I have a friend from Austin, and she keeps telling me to check it out along with Houston. Texas is a nice place, I have been through there several times, and would not mind spending some time there. Besides, they have great BBQ and steaks, and alot pretty women ;-)

If you are implying that the (approximately) same house in Austin, Tx sells for the same as that house in Solana Beach, CA, you have definitely been smokin' somethin' that ain't legal in Austin, TX.

Houston is a shitty town. Hot weather mean people. Austin is too hot to tolerate too. A lot of nice women though. Dallas is better then Houston. Texas has the women for sure.
