I have lived all of my life east of the Mississippi River. There is a good reason why those who live in the west do not want to go east. Anything from attitude, to humidity, to the varied landscape, to the lower state income taxes, to even allergies.
I look at it this way, earlier start, earlier finish. And if you are an independant trader no one is forcing you to trade for the whole session.
As for states to move to if I needed to be in the Eastern Time Zone, or maybe even the CST, Florida looks good but the hurricanes are a deal killer for me.
Maybe spend some time in NYC? Low Tax, High Quality of life, but boring, New Hampshire?
