Best trading indicators?

MA, PA, RSI. But it is not like it will be the same for everyone and every strategy.
Surely these indicators are just Lagging and purely mimic where the chart is at the time ?
i focus on the emini sp and the large sp futures.
Talk about putting the cart before the horse!
What are you trying to do?
Buy breakouts?
Trend following?
Reversions?
This is why there are so many arguments over TA. The strategy comes first, then you apply the proper TA.
Thanks ,Do you use only price to trade or do you add indicators? i am not to familiar in trading futures.
For information I trade one currency pair, one time frame only, use adapted Fib levels on a counter trend strategy.
Attempted to add various other indicators to add confirmation to the strategy but nothing worked, even after tweaking the indicators to try to suit the strategy, so just left it with fib levels. Coupled with pattern recognition.
i have many indicators but none that i use for trading, have any smoothing so it's just raw data programmed to look different than a bar chart so i can see patterns.
futures is just data what you trade is just data - data is data - its not a market to me in my mind and money is toothpicks.
