FWIW & IMHO


A few months ago I received an exceptional (actually the absolute best for a trader IMHO) complement from RabbitOne when he told me – my thoughts (mind) are pure and simple….





So I pass this to you as “Food for Thought” Sir



Step 1 (This one is hard)

Completely quite your mind… AND I MEAN COMPLETELY Sir – To the point where you can hear yourself breathe, you can hear your heart beat, you can hear the blood course through your veins – and you can remain in this clear minded state for hours… In other words shut your inner voice (thoughts) off completely




Step 2 (This one is harder still)

Now in a “clear minded state” Bring up a live chart, take a seat, introduce your self to the chart (I’m serious), and tell the chart;

Hello my name is XXXX

I hear you have a story to tell – I’m here to listen – and I will sit quietly and listen for as long as you like…..



Step 3 (The hardest)

If you keep your mind completely clear – the chart will begin to speak… Maybe not straight away, but as it gains trust in you, and figures out you will listen intently without interrupting it (with your thoughts / desires/ wishes/ hopes/ inner voice/ etc.) – it will speak… and eventually it will speak volumes


Do this over and over – because as the chart become more familiar and comfortable with you – it’ll start yelling its story out loud – as it doesn’t want you to miss a damn word it has to say..



The story it tells – will be all you need to know Sir – to act and do – as you must…..

Please recommend any traders you have witnessed live who have public editorials, presentations or journals that I could read from, free material.

The one thing I ask is that you must have witnessed this person making live calls in a trading room or something similar, that way I can filter those that are not worth it.

Ehhh, markets are not fractal in your opinion then?

Minus slippage and liquidity issues on the shorter time scales.
