What about all the crap the FDA allows and then takes back after they find out that people die from side effects? They also allow crap like aspartame and other chemicals that are ripping people apart at the seams. I'd rather see things allowed that don't do anything than things that are allowed that DO hurt and kill people. The FDA is owned by big pharmaceutical companies.

The FDA is indeed an arm of Big Pharma, FDA employees aid Big Pharma in killing people and then they get consultant jobs after they retire from public "sevice". Another reason to abandon the two party system and join the Constitution Party... Democrats have tried more than once to bring supplements under the FDA.. that would kill the supplement industry... that would be a victory for Big Pharma...
I always shunned colloidal silver for some reason, it just seemed so flakey because you have all these kooks making it in the kitchens and there is so much controversy... a couple months ago I bought some. I have nasal problems and a bone infection that gives me toothaches even though the teeth are gone... so I start playing with the stuff, taking it orally.. I get the same after effects as taking antibiotics, I've depleted my probiotics.. so I'm thinking "well wow, maybe the stuff works after all" but I don't like the side effects... then I start snorting it a couple times a day, that's not very effective so I got an atomizer that sprays it in the sinus cavities and an eye dropper.. I start putting drops in my eyes and ears twice a day and spraying a few ml in my sinuses... dang, I was waking up every morning with this phantom toothache until I started that little regimen, now, forget it, it's gone, I can stop the treatments for a few days and it does not return that fast... and I have no need for my allergy medicine... it kills the rinovirus that causes all the symptoms apparently, it's known to kill both viruses and bacteria in petrie dish experiments...
The FDA refuses to test the stuff... they will not allow anybody to say it's a cure for anything... they are just a wing of Big Pharma.... and they can go to hell in a handbasket for all I care.. California is going broke, I'm here in CA, it feels good that they are going broke, if the US follows suit it is going to feel good..... I don't care about the economic /philosophic ongoing distractions, I want my freedoms back, all of them and I want the public sector to get the hell out of the way of my pursuits of happiness...

I have nothing against alternative medicine, and I'm no friend of big pharma.
But I am a bit suspicious of how they spend 30 minutes telling you how you're in deep shit, and then the 800 number comes up for the 49.95 bottle of geltabs to cure what ails ya.
