Is there anyone on this site who has actually been successful?
I know that if my trading is successful and I am making $5k+ a day. The last thing I want to do at night is post on a trading forum, unless I am there to sell something. If i want to brag/troll, there are better places to do that.Is there anyone on this site who has actually been successful?
I have never posted on a software development forum in my 6 years career and I don't see why I want to post on a trading forum if everything is working out well.

True. I probably wouldn't either. But others might. I've learned a lot from Internet forums over the years.
I can't even tell you how much I've learned from home repair forums. I can wire or plumb a whole house without ever having been employed as either of those things.
Nobody on those forums calls me a troll because it's as simple as asking a question and reading the answers.

But it's not that easy on this forum.

where ever it involves another human being, who has an opposite interest,it is never easy.

it is not difficult if you trade longer time frames.
i tried for 12 years to scalp because i wanted to use my time fully.
i once held stock future of ITC for 3 months and made 300% but for 3 months i was playing video games......you cannot even spend money because your money is in the market.
so i tried scalping but found that impossible
i am swinging now...hope that would be better

As far as I know, @padutrader only talked about his failures and losses but never his successes and wins. He probably made millions.Is that your total profit is negative $300,000usd?
Or did you not add your wins to that?
