Best strategies for beginning of the month?

Selling Theta (straddle) seems does not kick ass so much at the beginning.

Can somebody recommend any strategies for beginning of the month?

For moving/slow markets?

1) Window Undressing.......to reverse the end-of-the-month, window dressing from the prior month. :cool:
2) You can also have "build up" going into the non-farm payroll report. :D

I don't understand the strategy?
 
I think you should sell a wide spread, just to be on the safe side.
If market is still, your position's options will be decayed, earning money.
