Best source for instant news headlines?

I'm using Qcharts and IB, and am looking for a good source for instant news headlines, earnings reports, government statistics (unemployment reports etc).

What online service do you recommend and what does it cost?

There are many threads related to this - do a search (see upper right corner of elite trader page for search function)

Personally, I get a premium news package through redi+ that cost about $200 per month, but it is very good and aggregates news from many sources
 
money.net offers dowjones realtime newswire for about $20/mo.

if you open an account with scottrade, you get the same for free. the problem with them is they don't accept international clients - except from China. I advise everyone to get a chinese passport, very trendy these days.

Yeah, but it's not REAL time and it's missing a lot.

You need to get Dow Jones BROADTAPE headlines. That's as fast as it gets. Maybe also chekc out www.tradethenews.com

used to have a dude in the traders room reading the scrolling headlines ....
