best SIM to paper trade

Is Ninjatrader (using opentick data) a good platform to paper trade with, and learn the ropes? Is there better platforms or sources to use for paper trading?

Ninja is a phenomenal learning tool for paper traders.

Make use of the performance reports, market replay function, and chart markers for best effect.

Not so sure on opentick, never used it. Try Zenfire datafeed or even IB.

Go to http://mirusfutures.com/ and use their free simulator account with NinjaTrader. Can't go wrong.

buttontrader over ib may also be worth a shot. With buttontrader, managing your stops is "child's play", whatever that means. Plus you can see the DOM and tick resolutions on button which is a great fine tool for when your in the trade zone...
