Quote from Martinghoul:
Well, there you go again being all condescending, Maverick... I have no idea what I was doing well at and what points you're gonna take off me. But, just so we're clear and on the same page, I am not a schoolboy, so I am not really sure why you feel the need to express approval (or lack thereof), as far as my views are concerned. If the above was meant in jest, I don't understand the humor, sorry.
At any rate, yes, like I said previously. I have a particular view where American society is concerned. I don't view myself as being synthetically short, more like flat. I think there's enormous challenges that America faces, but then I am also aware that it has enormous resources. What the future holds, I have no idea, but I am cautiously optimistic and like to treat the various issues at hand as "growing pains". All that said, I find certain specific aspects of life in the US simply unacceptable, which is the reason for my choice.
But all of the above is neither here nor there. The discussion I thought we were going to have (or were we?) was about my "defense" of QE and the Fed. My view, like I mentioned in my response to Ricter, is somewhat complicated.
Martin, you have ZERO sense of humor. Which is too bad, as I tend to love British humor and comedians. No, the discussion we were trying to have was about Rick and his views on QE. And apparently that didn't get anywhere because other then you don't like the fact that he screams, I for the life of me can't figure out your complaint.
