Maybe you misunderstood. I'm just saying, I've always enjoyed living in affluent neighborhoods and having a top lifestyle.
I contribute to charity (aloha united way) and the red cross to help those less fortunate, I'm just saying for my own lifestyle preference, I enjoy living in the wealthier parts of town, and affiliating with successful people.

you are lost and have no conception of reality. ken is right except for the fact that what you own has NOTHING to do with how warm you are or how much time you spend with your family. being a wage slave sucks.

I could go on...but in a nutshell the USA is the best, most civilized place in the world.

What about Real Estate in Whistler, I was looking to invest in a little apartment , because of the Olympic Games.
What do people think over there ? Is it a good Idea?
Thanks

So, by implication, the vast majority of American's lives suck?
Remind me, who is it that's out of touch with reality?![]()

My point is that living in an affluent area does not mean that the neighbors will be good people and does imply that your children will gain any worthwhile values from their surroundings.

This may sound stereotypical, but from my perspective, as far as growing up in an affluent area and I now have two kids and living in a small town, IMHO my experience is that the affluent areas offer more ways to "get into trouble" than the smaller ones.Quote from CalTrader:

Where would be your pick for the best or top 5 places in the world (ex U.S.) to trade from based upon quality of life issues - weather, entertainment, technology, recreation, etc.
Thanks.

You're a little late. Whistler is horribly expensive already, and real estate prices skyrocketed when "rumor" came out Vancouver was bidding for the Olympics. A developer came in and advertised some new condos being developed just after it came out, and it was all sold out after 2 days at 5million a piece.
