The conditions for trading from Jamaica are like anywhere else I guess. Where there is reliable dial-up/broadband you can trade from there. If you go overseas for a short stay and you can connect to the internet at say a hotel, you can trade from your hotel room. The same if you rented or purchased accomodation to do a longer stay, and go in and out of the country, and back in again - according to the length of stay permitted on the visa that you have. Info for visas are usually available online at the country's embassy in the U.S., or from their foreign ministry. In the above situation tax on income would not apply, since you would probably have some type of visitors visa that would not allow you to take employment.
me, I don't like seeing poor people... so I stay in an exclusive Hawaii neighborhood here on Oahu...
it's motivating to have movie stars as neighbors, and wealthy business owners... so it's great to live in paradise. I'd have a hard time living on an island that has a lot of poor people on it

I guess you don't go to the poor areas of Hawaii. Well, you do not need to go to the poor areas of Jamaica. You do not need to go to the poor areas of New York city (and there are several of them). You do not need to go to the poor areas of Japan or to the slums of any asian capital. Jamaica has the finest international hotels in the world and some of the best golf courses, and beaches unsurpassed in beauty and cleanliness. The rich and famous of the world goes to Jamaica (from rock stars to princes and princesses and money men of every ilk) to vacation in the tropical beauty of Jamaica's north coast.
Jamaica's poor? Well, they do not get in your way. Why talk about them like that? Most of them are nice people. The guy that sells you a coconut to drink from, he is not a wealthy stock trader but he makes his money. The roadside vendor that sells you a souviner carving - she is not a rich woman (and there are rich women in Jamaica). But she makes her money. Ask her how she is doing and she'll likely say, "I'm fine" with a big smile.
Jamaica's north coast has a long history of catering to the wealthy of the world, and in later times to the average tourist with $800 to spend on a package tour.

live a peacfull and relaxing life, but a stressfull artificial PC non sense life (tough trader life is surrounded with PCs).

Maybe you misunderstood. I'm just saying, I've always enjoyed living in affluent neighborhoods and having a top lifestyle.
I contribute to charity (aloha united way) and the red cross to help those less fortunate, I'm just saying for my own lifestyle preference, I enjoy living in the wealthier parts of town, and affiliating with successful people.
