ETs,
This has been a truly great thread and I pray it stays that way, gets better and stays focused on the thread question.
Please if you wish to have a debate on U.S. vs the rest of the world, please begin a new thread in a different forum.
The focus of this thread is on how a trader ( a true 'free-man') can maximize the freedom and hopefully wealth of the profession to become an international citizen with a high quality of life in a borderless world.
Many many thanks to mark1, damir, Nana trader, and everyone who has been so helpful. Keep it coming.
It seems there is some common agreement in the following places as being great locales:
Barcelona, Spain/Canary Islands
Geneva
Paris
Vancouver
Thailand
I've only personally been to Vancouver (in a November), so it was rainy and glooomy, but I did get the sense that it could be a fabulous city to live in. Though it did seem a little pricey for me.
I am seriously excited by Barcelona and Thailand and also have in mind other places mentioned in the thread - St Thomas-USVI, Cuba, Morocco and Turkey.
Any more shared expereinces in these places or new ideas would be appreciated.
Maybe in time we can plan yearly retreats in different exotic locales to meet one another and learn about different cultures and people.
Once again, many thanks to all!
