Best multi-monitor PC's for day trading?

You can have only so much horsepower in a video card before active cooling becomes mandatory.

Users claim the "Zotac 430 Passive runs cool" and has a Passmark score of about 700... perhaps something to consider for those wanting more video grunt from their trading rigs. (The passively cooled NVS 295, more than adequate for trading, scores only about 210 Passmark.)

I've got 2 Hanns-G 1080p monitors. They're great because they are 16:10 format, not the super-wide 16:9 format.
Everything is so "stretched" with 16:9....which is good for movies only.

Sorry...I meant 16:12 or 4:3 format.
I'm running at a custom resolution of 1200x900 pixels and that's just perfect.....easy on the eyes.
NVidea supports custom resolutions which I think are great....
 
i have 2-27 inch but feel like its a bit too big actually when i sit up against it. it seems COOL, but i d k about being so close.

woudl a 24 be better? plan to do scalp and some intraday along w/ swing. nothing major.
 
try to get max resolution in the smalllest monitor size. obviously balance with your budget.

you can get full HD as cheap as $150 in a 21-22'' range...

getting a 27 inch just makes ur Neck work out more...

I don't think there is any reason at all to buy a 1080p 27"... 1080p monitors at 21" LED are $130 and under new. New led 27", like the Apple screen, are about the same area as two 1080p monitors.

I don't think it will hurt your neck, just place it further back. The extra res makes a huge difference on eye comfort and ease in reading text (contrary to popular belief, it will be easier to read when a bit back) if you really need help seeing, make the overall text bigger by a bit.

If you are over 45, and need reading glasses, that is the reason.
27" is viewable from 2 feet away....no need for glasses.
 
A definite must for your trading PC is a Solid State Drive (SSD). I bough a small 80Gig on which I run Windows 7 and trading related software and the rest I run on a 1Gig regular hard drive.
