Best Investment Book of All Time

It's the best because he interviews many ultra succesful money managers and distills the wisdom. These are the words of the top people on earth on the subject, not tony robbins thoughts.

Stuff that's working now. Not ancient stuff from market wizards which is great reading for history but pretty useless application wise.
Well, If so, I gonna give it a shot.

Did you ever hear of an odd fellow named marketsurfer? He used to repeatedly insist that successful traders had to take huge risks to generate outsized returns. If you should ever meet him, be sure to set him straight.

I don't believe outsized, champion style returns are possible without taking big risks.

Its only unscrupulous if your investors are unsophisticated and don't understand the risk. VN ONLY had extremely knowledgable professional investors who invested with him for the potential of huge returns ( which he delivered) along with the high risk.

He had to bet big to retain the top rankings in the hedge fund game--- rather than pull back to make a respectable return, he had to beat everyone else at returns. This demand huge bets and the risk is just as big.

marketsurfer: have you ever been assured of something so strongly that you are willing to take a huge risk? I guess not, and you will never understand so you mock those stepping up to the plate. 90% isn't 100%, there is enough left over in the worst case to start again.

And so on...
