Thanks for the heads up on that.
I was paying $50 a month for a brain supplement, don't laugh everybody, I needed it and it worked great for myself and a friend or two that took my recommendation on it. I reverse engineered the ingredients and found that an ounce of sardines a day would have the phosphatidyl serine and that the rest of my diet [eggs and milk especially] would have the other ingredient in the supplement. I just get the tins of sardines available everywhere... sardines can be eaten right out of the reefer or put in sandwiches or salads...
The Incas of ancient days had Chia as their third or fourth largest crop depending on which "expert" you listen to. I recommend chia seeds as a super food, they have possibly more nutrition by weight and volume than anything else on the planet. Indians take them with them on long trips where they jog a hundred miles or more, it keeps them healthy and full of energy, I feel better whan I'n supplied with those....
I agree with the coconut and olive oils as well. You can treat your ears with coconut oil if they are dry and itching, it will go away for a long time and the idea that coconut oil if taken internally was bad seems to have been bogus.
A healthy colon is very important, one doctor from Mexico, maybe he was in a cancer clinic, said that 99% of cancer patients were constipated. Get some All Bran Buds, cold cereal with psyllium husk fifer in it, that feeds your good bacteria needed for a healthy colon and they in turn then kill off and crowd out the bad bacteria and fungus's etc... take an occasional probiotic, the supermarkets have several forms available in the yogurt section or you can buy a supplement.
Legacy plants may provide the best nutrition. You have to grow those yourself. It's a way to completely circumvent the problems associated with modern farming. I'm reading "Square Foot Gardening" and planning some space to grow legacy veggies, it should be good..
Regarding vegan diets, forget it, do your own research on brain nutrition, it's not in the veggies...... or the fruits........ or the seeds.....
