[Best equity commission?] tradier is better than IB and TradeKing?

I understood that IB and TradeKing were the best commission, under $5 per trade.

But I heard that Tradier is less than $3.5, as shown in

Is this THE MARKET BEST?

PS) Please consider ONLY equity, since I NEVER trade any option/future.

Btw, optionshouse was acquired by trademonster. If you like the potential in being grandfathered with the commissions, you may want to open an account with them.

I have a live account. I think you get the app after you sign up. They have a "Sign Up" button on the lower left and upper right side of the homepage.

The app has very simple functionality.

How are they making money? On bid/ask spreads?

Here's what they are saying. One wonders what they are not saying.

If the SEC decides to crack down on PFOF, I bet that this firm will have to close up shop.

It's hard to know whose funds might be most at risk in that case--the venture capitalists, the customers, or the SIPC?

Robinhood makes money in many of the same ways as traditional online brokerages. These include:

- Collecting interest from customers who choose to upgrade to a margin account. We are testing margin in beta and will offer margin accounts later this year.

- Accruing interest from customers’ uninvested cash balances. It is important to note that our customers are not charged.

Robinhood has raised $66 million from NEA, Index Ventures, Ribbit Capital, Vaizra Investments, Google Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, Social Leverage, Box CEO Aaron Levie, Path CEO Dave Morin, Jared Leto, Snoop Dogg, Linkin Park, and Nas,which gives us the freedom to focus on building an outstanding experience rather than short-term profits.
