Best Daytrading Strategy

Are there any suggestions or opinions from anyone as to what they think is the simplest and most profitable strategy for selecting stocks for daytrading?

Some basics fo daytrading stock selection I like:

1- Stock moves at least 5% a day

2-Stock trades at least 500,000 shares a day


3-Stock is listed on a national exchange


4-Stock "trends" (tough in this market)


5-Stock is priced at at least 30. The higher the
price the more the potential trading range. A
5% move in a 30 stock would be 1.5 points in a
day.

There are other factors that may help , but this is a good start. I welcome comments form other daytraders.

the best strategy is the one that feels right for you. there are many variations. I think a base in technical analysis will give it some steady traits, and the idea's gene had are good to look at too, but in the end it will just come down to what feels right to you. there are as many ways to trade as there are traders.
