I hate it when people don't answer my questions but instead answer a question I didn't ask. So out of respect to the question, here is my answer: authors worth considering include Barry Rudd's two books, Al Brooks's four books, and Bob Volman's two books (in no order). The titles are all in print and easily obtained. I don't have the time to write them all about.
That said, nothing beats experience, discipline, and rigorous self-study. I am typing this on Christmas Eve while taking a break from studying my years of intraday charts. If trading were as easy as reading a book, just about everyone would be successful.
Good luck to you.
