Easily Qcharts for me.. Price isn't outrageous like CQG, charts are beautiful, and reliability is solid since esignal bought them out. Yes they have their faults, but I am a buyer :)

Seriously though, it all depends what you want out of a charting program. Do you need EOD only? RT? Do you need to create custom formulae? Do you want to create 'real' volume bars (apparently there are some issues with a few of the programs out there)? Do you want to run multiple instances? Do you hate renting or is subscription okay? If you need RT streaming, do you need a data feed/software package? For instance, I use Amibroker, but I can't use CQG data with it.

A few details would help the OP get the best answer.

btw... 56 posts since 1999? Now that's restraint!!

Lol.
There wasn't much to say.

I was using Tradestation2000 + IB + Hyperserver(for feeding IB data to TS2000).
Then those hyperserver guys wanted some money so I started using Sierra + IB data + Button Trader for order entry. Good enough for my style of trading. Some people say IB data isn't precise.
Can't catch exact tops or bottoms anyway so don't need precise ticks and Button is doing very good job as order entry soft.
