Best Car for Newly Hired Trader

Quote from Pekelo:

Exactly my thought. This question is pretty similar to the one posted under chit-chat and asking for a decent watch...

I don't see the connection at all.
I've been a member of this site for 5 years. My thread on watches is hardly my first post. And in no way any attempt to start an alias.
I've never had an alias and never will.
Ok, thats not true. Sometimes in strange cities I go by the name, "Robert". :)

...I figured I could get some advice from guys on here as to what the hot cars are for traders. Since I'll be driving to work most days, I want a car that fits the part.

Thanks to everyone for their contributions. I should also disclose that my parents live outside of the United States. In fact, the reason why they are being so generous is because our home currency has appreciated so strongly against the US Dollar.

In fact, they are currently looking into condo's as well. They will probably buy one and have me pay for the monthly fees on the place.

Get the new Camry - looks sharp. Then have your Dad give you the balance of the money, and invest it for a rainy day.

I agree. It looks really nice. Guy around the block from me just got one. Almost made me reconsider my recent Accord purchase but I've had great experiences with Honda in the past.

And how about that new FJ Cruiser? I like it a lot. WHen my Cherokee gives out I might take a serious look at them.
