I understand the question perfectly. I just want to state that coosing a trading platform is a different choice from choosing a photo editor for home use.
If you are choosing a photo or document editor for publishing a magazine, you first choose the editor, then you get a computer it runs on - whether it's a PC or (more likely) Mac. Similarly, when you choose software for trading, you first choose soeftware, than you get a computer it runs on.
