Best argument i have witnessed that is against the tea party.

Quote from Tsing Tao:

alright, well you're certainly entitled to your own opinion, even if i feel it's misplaced.

as for the market finding it's own bottom - that's entirely the point. it CANNOT find it's own bottom as long as it is being manipulated and the bankers are bailing themselves and the crooked politicians out all the time.

cant believe you missed that point from the video.

True enough, the market must find it's own bottom, but what should have happened first is the economic terrorists that orchastrated this mess should have been brought to justice. That hasn't happened, and adding insult to injury, they have been rewarded. I'm going ghetto on this one. No justice, no peace.

Of course the market can't find its own bottom so long as the Powers keep trying to artificially prop it up.

I didn't miss the point at all.... the argument they were making is irrelevant. The Tea Party is not about arguing, "stop the foreclosures", "stop the banks"... those guys bitching about what the Tea Party is NOT doing is entirely disingenuous.

Then what is it about? I thought the movement got started talking about the economic fraud perpetrated by financial institutions and their government facilitators. Now they're talking about who can blow whom. Business as usual for the right. Protect the money, oppress the working class, and distract, distract, distract.

the tea party bunch are mostly morons and hypocrites. they rant against big government and spending but they are recieving some kind of government check themselves.
we have a tea party woman running for congress in my state this year. it came out that she recieved about 3 million in farm subsides over 10 years. when asked how she can rail against government spending and still recieve a government check she said farmers are special because they provide an important service by providing food for americans so they should continue to recieve their subsidy.
the tea party wants to cut the other guys spending but not their own. here they are squirming when asked exactly where they will cut spending:

You bought that bilge too? Tsk, Tsk...

Let's start a new thread.....

"TEA PARTY IS NOT BITCHING ENOUGH ABOUT...."

You make your own list..

Whaddaya want, miracles? You want them to campaign about ALL wrongs? The hungry in Darfur? Kids in Guatemala without shoes? Non-circumcised Africans at too great of risk to HIV infection?

you are anything but a free thinker. keep drinking the kool aid.

See what we're up against? Fuckheads like that who are allowed to vote..

People scream hysterically about the economic mess we're in without taking the time to look at how we got here.

The collapse of the US economy began in 1999 when Congress passed (overwhelmingly by Democrats and Republicans) the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act that had, since 1933, separated legitimate banking activities from risky investment activities. On top of that, both Democrats and Republicans supported lowering credits standards so that more people could buy homes. In September of 1999, an article in the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/1999/09/30/business/fannie-mae-eases-credit-to-aid-mortgage-lending.html) predicted the banking collapse that began in 2006.

Neither Democrats nor Republicans will tell you this information because then they would have to take responsibility for what they did. The fact is, both parties are corrupt and have to be replaced.
